About Pilates

Pilates is an incredible form of exercise ultimately designed to strengthen your core. When we have a strong core, we have a supported spine and pelvis. Pilates, when taught specifically and correctly will improve your posture and change the way you move. It will flatten your tummy, elongate your muscles and rid you of your niggles. All you need is a mat, and a good instructor!

About me and my classes

My name is Zoe and I am the Founder and Director of Pilates by Zoe. I am a huge advocate of Pilates. I love the flow and precision, the challenging progression of exercises and the strength it has given me. My classes are exclusively mat classes.
I come from a background in music theatre, theatre and dance and only wish I’d discovered pilates early on in my career. I have never felt stronger, more injury free and more balanced in my body.

I hold a government recognised Diploma in Pilates with Pilates International. I hold a current first aid certificate and have public liability insurance.

The classes I teach have limited numbers, so unlike gym classes, you are getting a well supervised session enabling you to grasp the true concepts of Pilates and benefit from a terrific form of exercise.
